Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Kroybikri (including our websites and related apps), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. If you use Kroybikri on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorized to bind that business to these terms.

2. The Kroybikri platform

Kroybikri is a Bangladesh marketplace that may include, among other features:

• Classified listings — buy and sell products, post or hire services (for example household, cleaning, AC, electrical, plumbing, education), and job ads
• Shop — shop owners create storefronts and sell catalog products
• Wholesale — business-to-business offers and related seller tools
• Auctions — timed auctions such as vehicles and property, including bidding and related verification steps
• Messaging & dashboards — buyer/seller communication and account tools to manage ads, shops, and activity

Features may change over time. Some modules may be limited by region, account type, or eligibility (for example KYC for auctions).

3. Accounts and sign-in

You may need an account to post listings, open a shop, sell wholesale, bid in auctions, or use messaging. You can create an account with email/password or with Google sign-in where offered. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and update it when it changes. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to users or the platform.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Kroybikri for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity
• Post prohibited, misleading, stolen, counterfeit, or unsafe goods or services
• Harass, scam, or impersonate others; spam messaging or listings
• Scrape, bulk harvest, or reverse-engineer the platform, or bypass access or security controls
• Upload malware, or interfere with site performance, search, auctions, or other users
• Circumvent verification, KYC, or eligibility rules (including using false identity documents)

5. Listings, shops, and content

Sellers and providers are responsible for their ads, shop catalogs, wholesale offers, auction descriptions, photos, prices, location details, and other content. Content must be accurate, lawful, and yours to publish (or properly licensed). We may edit, refuse, hide, or remove content that violates these terms or our policies, or that we believe harms users or Kroybikri.

Kroybikri is generally a venue connecting users. Unless we expressly say otherwise for a specific feature, we are not the seller of classified goods/services, shop products, wholesale stock, or auction lots posted by users, and we do not guarantee quality, legality, availability, or delivery.

6. Transactions between users

Contracts for purchase, hire, employment, wholesale, or auction completion are between the parties involved. You must do your own due diligence (including meeting in safe places, verifying identity, and checking goods/property). Payment, delivery, returns, and disputes are primarily between buyer and seller unless a specific Kroybikri-managed checkout or escrow feature applies and is described at the point of use.

7. Auctions and verification

Auction rules (timing, bid increments, reserve, winner obligations, and document requirements) may be shown on the auction page or seller tools. Bidding may require identity or KYC verification. Bids may be binding under the rules stated for that auction. Manipulating bids, using multiple accounts to distort outcomes, or submitting false verification documents is prohibited. We may cancel auctions, void bids, or block users for suspected abuse.

8. Services and jobs

Service and job listings are advertisements. Kroybikri does not employ listed workers or guarantee employment outcomes. Providers and employers must comply with applicable Bangladesh law (including labour, safety, and licensing rules where relevant). Users should verify credentials and references independently.

9. Messaging

Messaging is for legitimate inquiries about listings, shops, wholesale, or auctions. Do not use chat for spam, fraud, or illegal content. We may review or restrict messaging where needed for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

10. Intellectual property

Kroybikri branding, design, software, and platform materials are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without permission. You keep ownership of content you post, but you grant Kroybikri a non-exclusive licence to host, display, reproduce, and promote that content in connection with operating and marketing the marketplace (including search results, share previews, and similar features).

11. Fees

Some features may be free; others may involve listing fees, promotions, shop plans, auction fees, or other charges. Fees will be disclosed where they apply. Unpaid amounts or payment abuse may lead to limited access or removal of content.

12. Disclaimer

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted service, error-free operation, and fitness for a particular purpose. Search ranking, recommendations, and filters are tools—not guarantees of outcome.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kroybikri and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the platform or from dealings with other users. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid us for the feature giving rise to the claim in the three months before the claim, or (b) BDT 5,000, except where liability cannot be limited by law (for example proven fraud or personal injury caused by our negligence, where applicable).

14. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Kroybikri against claims, losses, and costs arising from your content, listings, shops, wholesale activity, auction conduct, messaging, or violation of these terms or applicable law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Kroybikri at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or cancel auctions/listings when we reasonably believe these terms or the law have been breached, or to protect users or the platform. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, liability limits, and indemnity) continue after termination.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. Courts in Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or your use of Kroybikri, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply.

17. Changes

We may update these terms as features or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
